The Adventures of Grace Basque
On December 19th, 2021, my grandmother Grace Kekaulike Basque turned 80 years old! As a birthday present, I made this site as a place to eternalize her stories, so others and I could read these stories into the far future.
Grace Basque was born in Waimea on the Big Island on December 19th, 1941. Born to a Hawaiian-Chinese family, Grace spent most of her life riding horses, singing in a jazz band, and becoming the mother to various kids.
